Pro-active disposition of UMJ
By: Darryl McGarry
The UMJ Volume 3.7

I am delighted to hear about the pro-active disposition of the UMJ. I am also delighted to hear about the opportunities to contribute.

The recopy of my last e-mail in the complaint centre has at least given me some satisfaction. As I am currently preparing for court, my time is strictly allotted but I do have many insights into the bureaucratic labyrinth which I would love to impart free of charge. My experience with the legal system is also quite profound and from this experience I would quite happily provide advice.

However, I am sure most other foreigners in Japan would quite as readily offer their wisdom for the same price which would have as much value. I am tired of complaining destructively with repeated whinges, I am now in a ferocious mood approaching everything with the same realpolitik that seems the reason for the senseless rules quoted for the sake of rules.

Having arrived at this turning point, again, I will quite happily bounce on any Japanese inadequacy as further proof of their inadequacy. It is amazing how they respond once they are highlighted as being inadequate, repeatedly. Try it and see.

If we are on the outside then we can speak with authority about a standard they must rise to. We cannot be challenged because we are on the outside and the point of relativity is beyond them. Myth challenges myth and check-mate!

Anyway, that is a free two-bob`s worth of stuff to reflect on with incense.
