1. If
you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer:
If this is the case, you will have one of two
possibilities when you click on a file you want to open:
a.
The file will open automatically.
If this is the case, enjoy!
b.
A window will appear asking whether you want (1) more info, (2)
pick up, or (3) save it
Press save and save the file on
your computer. Once you save
it, you can click on it to open it.
2. If you do not
have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer:
In this case, you can easily install Acrobat
Reader, and it’s free. Follow
these simple steps just once, then proceed following the
instructions stated above for any PDF file.
a. Press
the yellow icon “Get Acrobat Reader”.
An Acrobat Reader web page will appear
b. Scroll
down and answer the short questions regarding your computer.
c. Press
“download”. A window
asking where you want to save it will appear and a file named
4.0 (or arXXX depending on the version) will be selected.
d. Press
“save”. This begins the
downloading process (it takes a few minutes).
A message will appear when the process is complete.
e. Press
“ok”
That’s it!
Now you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer and can open
any PDF file.
